Hello y’all! I have been LOVING the color pink lately! Especially light pinks and blush. I feel so girly and flirty when I wear it so why not! I am usually a very neutral color wearer (is that English?), so pink is definitely stepping out of my comfort zone and I totally am loving it. This cardi is one I have had my eye on for a while and it was worth the wait. It is currently 30% off PLUS an extra 20% off if you sign up for emails so it is going FAST. I have worn it 5 times a week since getting it and it does not disappoint. I love it with faux leather leggings for date night with booties or with jeans and over the knee boots or snow boots during the day! This hat is the absolute cutest, too, and is certain to receive compliments PLUS it is under $15 so WIN WIN! Have a fabulous Thursday!

This fall has been whizzing by—I cannot believe it is almost November! I have been dying to go to a farm to go apple picking but I completely missed the peak apple picking season, however I have still been craving a fall trip to my favorite farm. So when Enterprise CarShare reached out to me to try the program, I knew exactly where I wanted to go.
My good friend and photographer, Katie (KS Photography) came with me to my favorite childhood farm, which happens to be next to my parent’s house. My dad and I have a tradition of walking over to the farm and picking out the most perfect pumpkin and although sometimes we disagree on what “perfect” means we carve the same thing every single year…stay tuned. I am hoping we will be creating our masterpiece this weekend.
Thank goodness for Enterprise CarShare: I was able to rent an SUV large enough to bring home all the pumpkins and apples my little heart could handle. Now my fall loving self is pretty “falled” out, if that’s possible. If you aren’t familiar with the program, Enterprise CarShare is a membership-based service (super easy application process) and once you are approved, you’re able to view and book vehicles in your area 24/7 (Boston has so many vehicle pickup locations all over the city).
The best part about Enterprise CarShare is that you can rent a car for an hour or overnight—it is completely up to you. My experience was absolutely seamless and I am so excited to take another trip. Enterprise CarShare is offering a special promotion for you all if you sign up via THIS link, giving you your first year of membership for $0, and you will receive $20 in driving credits by entering BLOG16 in the promo code box when you sign up!

Howdy party people! It’s my birthday week and yikes I am turning old. There is something about 24 that scares me! Oh well, it is inevitable that June 26th will come and go and there isn’t anything I can do about so I am working on embracing it 🙂 When I went into one of my favorite coffee shops in Boston today, Ogawa, they put some cute latte art in my drink which I will post a picture of on my Instagram later today! What a fun way to start off my birthday week, yes, week. I am a middle child after all.
Today is so gorgeous so I decided to wear a dress because it sounded cool and flowy. I recently received this dress c/o Romwe and am LOVING it. It is so sweet and easy to wear and can be worn with heels, or with sandals. Click the links below for more details! It could be worn to a BBQ or even to a casual wedding with the right pair of shoes and fun earrings.
Dress: Romwe (This dress is under $25 you guys)
Sunnies: Warby Parker
Purse: (c/0) Coach
I am a pretty small human so a lot of trends like maxi dresses and jumpsuits are hard for me to wear and end up swallowing me whole. However, recently, I found the most perfect jumpsuit at Lit Boutique and scored it for 75% off (WHAT??). It is by Adelyn Rae, and I love how the length of the legs isn’t ridiculous (I have a long torso and short legs, thanks Dad). And it looks super cute with a heel or even a flat. I am wearing a size XS for reference. Be sure to check out Lit Boutique’s Boston locations in the North End and Newbury Street as well as their location in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. They are always totally on trend and the girls are always willing to help you put together a look for an event. I will link other similar looks below since this was a sale item.
Also, the picture with the guy behind me when I am crossing the street makes me laugh out loud every single time I see it, the following picture is my reaction to realizing he was behind me in the picture as he cruised past me!!!

Happy Leap Day!!! On this bonus day of 2016, I wanted to share with you where I purchased this button down and this adorable cozy cape. They both were under $20…and the button down was under $10. Primark, a new department store to Boston has so many affordable options, so college students (and non college students) you definitely need to go check them out in Downtown Crossing.
I love this button down because it is so great with jeans, but also could be worn under a blazer to work as a great spring time transition piece. I definitely will also be wearing it as a cover up over my bathing suit on the beach this summer as well. The cape is also a great transitional winter to spring piece for these 50-60 degree days where coats are too much, but no extra layer at all is just too cold! Unfortunately, Primark’s website is not shoppable yet so I will link some similar pieces and things I am currently loving for those who can’t make it to the actual store!

He was a skater boy she said see ya later boy. Sorry. You can’t say skater dress without me getting that stuck in my head, and now it is stuck in your head. So, you’re welcome. My poor dad had to listen to that song on REPEAT circa 6th grade when he would drive me to school 30 minutes away every. single. morning. Thanks, Dad.
Anyways, skater dresses are usually a little too short for my liking, but with all of these hot & humid days, nothing feels better than something that doesn’t really touch your body, more so floats away from your body (praise the clothing gods) because anything tight feels terrible. I bought this dress a few years ago and never really wore it a ton but lately I just throw it on to go to the pool or for a quick outing when I really just don’t want to put anything on. It is also totally twirl-worthy so it is a win in my book. Everyone should own at least one twirl-worthy dress that makes you feel giddy (just beware that skater dress twirls are also dangerous and may result in showing a little too much if you know what I am saying. I always picture that classic Marilyn picture where she has her hands on the front of her dress to make sure it stays down). Yup, totally me in the wind…but hey, we don’t have much wind these days sooooo we’re good.
Sunglasses: Blenders Eyewear // Bag: Kate Spade New York (out of stock but similar one) // Romper: One by The Fifth Label purchased off of ShopBop (out of stock everywhere in all colors WAHH) BUT here are some super cute similar rompers: HERE & HERE // Side note: totally eyeing this romper from ASOS.
So, I am sad that I waited this long to write a post on this romper because it is awesome but so awesome that it is sold out everywhere. I bought mine off of ShopBop, however, after looking online it looks like it was sold at a few other online stores. The brand is sold at a few places still so you can look up The Fifth Label. I love this one BUT you HAVE to wear it buttoned up or with a tank underneath…or maybe you just are more confident than I am but keep in mind that if you happen to find this exact romper that unbuttoned will lead to people seeing your belly button, literally I kid you not.
I also wanted to tell you all about these sunglasses I have been wearing a lot. They are from Blenders Eyewear. My younger, and much cooler, brother told me about them a couple months ago and they are not only cheap but awesome quality. I bought three pairs all for under $50 (all together) and they are perfect for beach days when you don’t want to bring your really nice pair, or if you happen to hang out with young children a lot that enjoy taking your sunnies and bending them :). I never have to worry with these and warning: you will get many compliments on them.
